تتناول الحلقة الاثار السلبية على تسعين بالمائة من النساء السودانيات المختونات والناجمة عن عدم وضع حد من قبل الدولة لهذه الظاهرة الاخيرة التي اودت بحياة الالاف من الفتيات والنساء. مقابلة مع سيدة تدافع عن الختان باستخدام الدين والسنة ومع سيدة آخرى معارضة لختان الاناث بعد ان توفيت اختها اجلال نتيجة اخضاعها للختان .


- Female Circumcision in Sudan:

Statistics indicate that over ninety percent of Sudanese women are circumcised because of old customs and traditions. Additionally, most religious organizations confirm its necessity for all Sudanese women. Sadly enough, many of these girls die while circumcision is being performed, not to mention the negative effects it has on the woman's body, especially when pregnant.

In this episode of Hekayat we will see the story of Soumaya Ali who insists that religion calls for circumcision, and insists that it's a habit that Sudanese women should stick to. We will also see Oum Jalal's story whose sister died while getting circumcised, so today Oum Jalal is defying the Sudanese society by calling for the abolition of this procedure.
